What are the pre-requirements?

  • An applicant for a PPL shall be at least 17 years of age
  • Able to obtain EASA Medical Class II or Class I certificate
  • Sufficient knowledge of English
    (Further requirements will apply as you progress with the modules)

What are the limitations of ATPL(Frozen) licence?

  • Upon the completion of 130+ flight hours, all privileges of an ATPL will be available for the pilot, but most airline companies require Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery (A-UPRT) (link ide) and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) courses upon completion of the Zero to ATPL Course.
  • A-UPRT is 2 days to complete
  • MCC is maximum 10 days to complete

Commercial Airlines Pilots have to complete PPL(A) and ATPL theory courses. Upon successful obtaining the PPL(A), trainees can immediately start the theoretical training of the ATPL. You can use our certified distance learning system to complete your courses in a most time effective and easy to learn way. If you do the ATPL theory course, you will be able to use your ATPL certificate to complete the theoretical part of the SEP IR or CPL training.

At the end of each theoretical course, candidates have to pass the theoretical exams.
We are an officially approved exam centre of Austro Control, the Civil Aviation Authority of Austria. Our scope is the organization of the following pilot examinations:

– PPL(A)/(H)
– CPL(A)/(H)
– IR(A)/(H)
– ATPL(A)/(H)

With the official nomination as theory exam center, we are able to provide official EASA theory exams in full accordance with regulation EU No 1178/2011 and all applicable rules and regulations.

At the end of each flight training you have to take a 1-1.5 hours flight exam checkride. We have qualified examiners and we make sure that exams are well planned and scheduled after the completion of each flight training.
